So often we get the excuse from business owners, I don't need a web site because I am so busy now with my current customers!
These people tend to overlook that a web site can free up some of the time they or their staff spend on customer services, by providing many things on a web site. Consider for example:

An online ordering system

Online appointment booking

Provide information on new products, services or events on your site,

Faq's page that answers many common questions, so your customers can refer there first.

Provide forms that can be downloaded instead printed and mailed
-
Online training sessions instead of classroom sessions
Many online tasks can save you and your staff time for more important tasks.
If you want privacy could create an area for your customers to log in for more sensitive information if you don't want it made public or you can even hide your site from the search engines if you don't want it made public.
